    BATIK

You will learn about the art of batik and create your own. At the end of the series you will take home your completed pillowcase – an individual creation with your own design and colors.

The series is in 3 classes as time needed for drying between each step of the process. You must attend all 3 classes to complete your project. If you cannot, don’t worry we will do this activity again another time!

Series A- 3 classes T, W, TH (Jan 21, 22 & 23) 1:30 – 3:00 pm

Class #1 (Tue Jan 21) – learn about the traditional art of batik, create your unique design with glue.

Class #2 (Wed Jan 22) – We will begin the process of dyeing the fabric.

Class #3 (Thur 23) – We will continue with the steps of the previous class and conclude with removing the glue for your finished product.
