First Time Visitors

039A6536 c

It is always an exciting time when visitors join us for the first time. Very rarely do we see them not become library members and then family. In the last weeks we have been able to welcome and connect over 30 new families from dozens of nations. Reading for All: Books and More is in Jordan for the people of Jordan including all who for come to live and work in the nation.

One of the best things we see is kids from all backgrounds sitting together, talking, playing and building friendships. More often than not, as children play together and learn, parents strike up conversation, walk out the doors laughing and exchanging numbers. Many of these families would never have a chance to meet and build relationships if it were not for Books and More. As walls begin to break down among our visitors and members, life long friendship are cemented each day.
